Bad experience twice with this branch. First time when my husband tried to add me to his account, we went in & had to stand & wait around for 15 minutes while no employee approached us to ask if they could help with anything. We decided to leave. The second time was a few months after I became a customer and needed a couple of pages notarized. I stepped into the branch an hour or so before closing on a weekday, and a customer service rep told me that their notary had left for the day, and would be available between, I think, 9 am and 4.30 pm the next day. Never said anything about taking an appointment. Got to this branch at around 10.30 am the following day and had to wait until a teller finally spotted me & asked me if he could help. Told him of my notarization request, and he immediately replied that she wasn’t in that day. I was confused and told him that I’d been informed the previous day that one would be available. Asked me if I had an appointment (though I hadn’t been told earlier that I needed one). I replied no. Then he backtracked and said that she was busy, so I asked when she’d be free next. Actually had the gall to tell me that she still needed to eat lunch, so it would take a couple hours, and that FedEx in the mall across the street has a notary! So even though I’m a Bank of America customer, I was forced to go to FedEx and pay to get each page notarized. Husband and I didn’t face this problem at all at their other branches (e.g., at their Friendly Ctr Location) where we provided this service with courtesy and not a very long wait time. Unfortunate for us that we have to be serviced at this branch since it’s the closest to our apartment.
